I say to the Lord, You are my God; give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy, O Lord! O Lord, my Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle. (Psalm 140:6-7)

This Sunday we're taking a look at the Helmet of Salvation. In Isaiah 59 we'll see that God wears this helmet first and that our salvation is accomplished. In Ephesians 6:17 we'll see that it is recieved. The fact that it's a help declares protection, specfifically of our minds, and we'll hear the good news in the assurance of the good news. And then we'll see that our headwear, just like today, is a declaration.

I hope you'll join us as we worship together this Sunday.
